Spinal Decompression

What is DOC Decompression Therapy?

DOC Decompression is currently the most sophisticated, three-dimensional non-surgical spinal decompression system to treat chronic neck and back pain in the country.

The Science of Non-Surgical Decompression

DOC Decompression works by gently lengthening and decompressing the cervical or lumbar spine. Movements created by the system cause negative pressure within the spinal disc. This type of pressure then creates an intradiscal vacuum that helps to reposition bulging and protruding discs. Ultimately, the DOC Decompression helps to realign spinal discs so healing can occur.

Neurological Effects

The mechanical pressure on pinched and compressed nerves is often a result of disc damage, poor muscle use, or a posture-induced compression. Decompression frees up the areas between the discs and where nerves exit the spine. Decompression literally takes pressure off any pinched nerves that have been affected, and relieves pain.

Additional Effect

Our spinal discs do not have a direct blood supply, so they need a constant supply of fresh oxygen and nutrients pumped in and out of them to keep healthy.   This method of decompression allows for better flow of nutrients and oxygen back into damaged or injured discs

Effective for the following conditions:

Herniated Cervical Discs

Herniated Lumbar discs

Spinal Stenosis

Cervical Radiculopathy

Sciatica

Facet Syndrome

Degenerative Disc Disease
